Buenos Aires   Buenos Aires is a sprawling metropolis that rises from the Río Plata and stretches more than 194 square kilometers (75 square miles) to the surrounding pampas, the fertile Argentine plains. Block after block of tidy, high-rise apartment buildings interspersed with 19th century houses continue as far as the eye can see.

Cordoba   Cordoba is the colonial capital city of Argentina on the edge of the Sierra Chica mountain range with approximately one million inhabitants. It has the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities of the country, founded by the Jesuits in 1622, and the center of the city is rich in Spanish colonial architecture from the 16th century.

San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia   San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia is one of the most important tourist resorts of Argentina, and is the most populated town of Rio Negro Province. It lies 770 meters above sea level, and is 1,650 km from Buenos Aires. The city offers year-round entertainment options. In the Winter, skiing and snowboarding are the activities of choice, with the primary attraction being the famous Catedral slopes.

Bolivia  


 

Sucre   Sucre is the beautiful colonial judicial capital located in the Andean highlands of Bolivia. Known as the "White City of the Americas" due to its numerous colonial buildings, all of which are painted in white and topped with shiny red tile roofs. Set in a valley surrounded by low mountains, Sucre is small (pop. 150,000) so that it is very easy to explore on foot.

Chile  


 

Santiago   Santiago's architecture reflects the fact that the city is really a universe composed of multiple worlds. The population is more than 5 million; nevertheless, residents are always likely to bump into an acquaintance along the city center's overcrowded streets and bustling walkways, since they're concentrated in a small area around the Ahumada and Huérfanos pedestrian malls.

Bogota   Located in the center of the country at an altitude of approximately 2,600 meters, Bogotá enjoys an almost perfect climate with average temperatures varying from 9 to 23 degrees centigrade.

Cartagena   Cartagena is a UNESCO World Heritage City, and on the "must see" lists of millions of world travelers. Ramparts and walls, were built all around the city in order to protect it from pirate attacks. Costa Rica  


 

Alajuela   The northwest central valley town of Alajuela is Costa Rica's second city. Alajuela has a busy downtown area and a slightly warmer climate than nearby San Jose. The International Airport is just one kilometer from the town. A provincial capital, Alajuela's red domed cathedral completes its central square and park which, during the heat of the afternoon, is the perfect place to hang out and people watch.

Manuel Antonio Beach   The school is located in the small town of Manuel Antonio which is part of the town of Quepos. Manuel Antonio National Park contains numerous short trails, all of which are easily accessible and well maintained, and they tend to follow the coastline, supplying beautiful views and easy access to the picturesque white sand beaches.

Playa Tamarindo   Playa Tamarindo is a beautiful tropical paradise well known for its natural beauty and excellent surfing. Nature is abundant in and around Tamarindo. You can find leather back turtles laying their eggs on the northern part of the bay and hear the howler monkeys echoing from the treetops. This trendy town is the home of a multi-cultural community boasting around 5000 inhabitants that live here year round. You will find people from all over the world who have made Tamarindo their home or their favorite tourist destination.

San Jose   San José, the capital Costa Rica, is home to several excellent museums and many of the country's best hotels, restaurants, and nightlife options. The city's other great assets are its location and mild climate as San José enjoys pleasant weather year round and stands in a broad fertile bowl ringed by jagged mountains, some of which are active volcanoes

Dominican Republic  


 

Santo Domingo & Sosua   The ancient Caribbean seaport of Santo Domingo, founded in August 1496, was the first capital of the new territories discovered by Christopher Columbus. In recognition of the city's role in the Spanish colonization period, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proclaimed Santo Domingo cultural heritage of the New World. Santo Domingo has numerous museums, restored historic sites and cobblestone streets. Its parks and plazas, ancient churches, main cathedral, coastal fortifications and reconstructed Spanish government buildings bring history to life. It is also a modern city with a population of 2 million, lively music, fine dining, casinos and five-star hotels dotting the landscape.

Ecuador  


 

Quito   Quito, the capital of Ecuador, has a population of approximately one and half million people. The city rises 2,850 meters (9,350 feet) above sea level, with an annual average temperature of 13C/55F. The dry season in Quito is May to October, and brief daily showers occur November through April. Nights are crisply cold, requiring a sweater or jacket, but the daytime temperatures, year round, rarely vary from the upper 60s to the low 70s F.

Cuenca   Cuenca has successfully preserved its colonial past from its cobbled streets, churches, prehispanic ruins, museums and craft shops to its colourful Indian markets. Honduras  


 

La Ceiba   Located on the Caribbean coast, La Ceiba is the third largest city in Honduras with a population of 80,000. The capital of the region of Atlantida, one of the 18 regions of Honduras, it is easy to get around on foot.

Utila   The smallest of the three major Bay Islands, Utila Island lies closest to the Honduran mainland, approximately 18 miles from the coast, and can be easily reached from La Ceiba either by sea or air.The main town in Utila is known as East Harbour or simply Utila, and is located on the eastern side of the Island. Without question, the biggest attraction that Utila offers to its many tourists is its fantastic reefs combined with some of the least expensive dive courses in the World.

Mexico  


 

Cuernavaca   Cuernavaca, also known as "the land of eternal spring," is a colonial city located about 50 miles south of Mexico City, at an altitude of 1,542 meters (5,280 feet) above sea level. The institute situated in a large villa surrounded by tropical gardens.

Guadalajara   Mild and cool, mile high Guadalajara is spread amid a Savannah of grasses and shrubbery and blooming flowers. For those interested in Latin American culture, there is a wealth of things to see and do. Theater, art exhibits, writers' forums, craft shows, drama clubs, museums, and concerts are but a few of the many offerings in this, the second largest city (5-6 million) in Mexico

Oaxaca   The heart of the city of Oaxaca is the zócalo, or main square, which is surrounded by a mix of colonial architecture and an indigenous marketplace. The zócalo, just a short walk from the Institute, is host to concerts, parades, and sidewalk cafes that provide a comfortable setting for relaxing after class.

Playa del Carmen   Playa del Carmen, a relaxed city in the state of Quintana Roo, is located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera of Mexico, approximately 40 minutes by automobile from Cancun. The climate is tropical year round, with the warmest time of year between April and August.

Puerto Vallarta   Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is a veritable paradise on the Pacific coast. Tucked into a niche in the West Sierra Madre mountain range, it can be reached in 30 minutes from Guadalajara by air or in four hours by road. Paraguay  


 

Asunción   Asunción, the capital and largest city in the country, is built on low hills above the east bank of the Río Paraguay. Though there are few colonial buildings remaining, one is Casa Viola, which is now a museum. Other sights include the Casa de Cultura Paraguaya, the 19th-century Cathedral and its museum, and the Casa de la Independencia, Asunción's oldest building dating 1772 and site of the declaration of independence.

Peru  


 

Cuzco   According to the stories passed down through the generations by the Quechuas, the mythical monarch Manco Capac founded the city of Cuzco at the beginning of the 13th century B.C. with the help of this three brothers and four sisters. Under Inca rule, the empire grew and developed, the systems of past cultures were improved upon and magnificent structures were built, such as roads and stone bridges.
